• Download this file into Windows 3.xx or Windows 95/98
• The file is a self-extracting ZIP file
• We recommend that the file be placed in its own directory
• Double-click on filename DBDSDEMZ.EXE in File Manager (Windows 3.xx) or Windows Explorer (Windows 95/98) to un-ZIP and expand it
• After expansion, double-click on DBDS.EXE to view the demo

DBDS Fix 502-30

NOTE:  This fix is ONLY required for customers who lease or rent DBDS.  If you have a permanent license, do not apply this fix or you will need a new authorization code.

• Download this file into Windows 3.xx or Windows 95/98.

• Upload it to your mainframe (AS A BINARY FILE!!!), placing it in the existing DBDS installation library.  It should replace the member named DBDSSUBC.

• Re-assemble and link the DBDS source module using your original installation JCL (usually member name DBDSAMOD). This will bring the new object module into a new load module.

• Be sure to "NEWCOPY" DBDS into your CICS region.

• Follow instructions on the Authorization Code form to enter your new Authorization Code.
